Everyone clocked in during the final hour before your posted close splits a share of every sale that hour brings in: at the counter, on the phone, online, all of it. The guest who walks in near close meets a crew with a reason to be glad they came.
Every amount here is a Client setting, shown with example numbers.
The window is the final hour before the closing time you already publish, so there is nothing to schedule. You set the crew's share of that hour's sales, the most the rule can pay in a night, and what a day has to clear before anything pays. The terms are set in advance and apply to everyone.
WaveWage reads each ticket as it closes and checks the clock. A sale inside the window adds its share to the pool the moment it lands, whatever channel it came through. A sale a minute before the window opens is just a sale.
Everyone clocked in during the window sees the pool climb on their own phone and sees their own split. A late rush stops being the thing that keeps them past close and starts being the thing that pays for the ride home.
A set number of minutes after close, WaveWage checks the day against the conditions you set: the labor cap held, the nightly cap was respected, no shift is still open. Then the pool goes into payroll as a WaveWage bonus paycode, one line per person, verified on the way back.
Chosen items add a share of each sale to the pool.
Wrong orders held below the store's own normal pay a period bonus.
Guests' own words, read in full, counted as wins and mistakes.
Showing up earns each person from their own record, paid alone.
An hour clears its expected number, the crew shares the dollars above.
Each completed job pays the person who did it.
The whole pipeline, ticket to paycheck.
We connect your systems and write your first rules with you, and the demo is free and unlimited until your POS is connected. Once you're live, plans run $3 to $5 per active employee. No new hardware, and payroll runs exactly like it always has.
An example week at a pita shop whose posted close changes by the day: Mon 10 PM, Tue 10 PM, Wed 10 PM, Thu 10 PM, Fri 11 PM, Sat 11 PM, Sun 9 PM. The Closing Hour window is the final hour before each day's close, so it moves with the close. The Client's example terms: a 15% crew share of the window's sales, and at most $60 a night. Tonight is a Wednesday, closing at 10 PM, so the window runs 9 to 10 PM. Tickets from the counter, online, the phone, and delivery ring through the evening. Every ticket rung from 9 PM adds its share to the pool, which reaches the $60 cap at 9:52 PM. Maya, Devon, and Priya, clocked in for the whole hour, watch the pool and their own share on their phones. After close the day clears its checks, the labor cap held, the nightly cap respected, and every shift closed, and the pool goes to payroll as 3 lines of $20.00, $60.00 in all.
01You set the share. The window sets itself.
