WaveWage sees the wave coming

Every open hour carries the number the store expects, the Realtime page draws the day as a wave, and the Surge Hour Rule shares the dollars above the line when an hour beats it.

The forecast is one number per hour: the sales the store expects. It sets the schedule, the prep, and the line the Surge Hour Rule measures against, and it locks before the hour begins so nobody can move the line mid-rush. It learns the pattern and ignores the anomaly; a tour bus on a Tuesday is a surge, not a new normal.

The top of the Realtime page is now that forecast drawn as a wave, filled in as the day happens, with every active rule shown where it fires. Tap a rule and its detail opens. The past is drawn in green, the shoulders show who opened early and closed late.

Money now clears two ceilings, so a promise made to one person is never clamped away by a pool, and the labor cap sits in front of every rule. Every change to a rule is logged with who made it and what it replaced, a day walks six named settlement stages the crew can read in one word each, and when late data completes a window after the day settled, the difference goes out on the next run. Nothing is ever clawed back.
