Ovation
Location ID connectOvation sits on top of your POS connection, it doesn’t replace it. Your hours and sales still come from TimeForge or Square. Ovation adds guest feedback, so a shift that earned the compliments can be the shift that earns the bonus.
No app to install and no keys for your team to mint: WaveWage holds the partner credentials with Ovation. You turn the module on under Settings → Guest feedback and paste your Ovation location ID. It’s the 24-character code already in your Ovation URL (app.ovationup.com/location-settings/<id>/basic). Saving tests the connection live and names the store it resolved to, so a wrong-store ID is obvious immediately.
Completed guest surveys for that one location, and only the parts a reward can be built from: the rating, the feedback categories, the guest’s written comment, and the ticket time we use to match the survey to the shift that served it. Only Ovation’s positive classifications become the category tags your rules can target, so a bonus can never be funded by a complaint. We don’t read or store guest names, emails, phone numbers, or anything else that identifies the person who left it. New surveys are polled about every five minutes.
Nothing. Ovation is read-only for WaveWage. We never reply to a guest, resolve a ticket, change a survey, or write anything back into your Ovation account. The bonus this feedback earns is paid through your POS, exactly as it is without Ovation.
The connection uses WaveWage’s partner credentials, never yours, so there’s no secret of yours to store or rotate. Your location ID scopes the read to your location alone. Turning the module off in Settings stops the sync immediately.
~1 minute. Live the moment the connection test passes. Until it does, the location keeps showing simulated feedback rather than half-real data. The first sync backfills the last 14 days so your rules have history to work with.
