Self-serve OAuth
How you connect
An owner or admin clicks Authorize in Square and grants the scopes below, and that’s it. There are no API keys for your team to mint, rotate, or store. Takes about a minute.

What we read
Your roster, timecards / attendance, and orders (sales, with category tags). Nothing else.
What we write
Only the end-of-day bonus, folded into the day’s timecard pay rate so Square Payroll pays it out as regular wages. That’s the one field Square both imports and pays. We never modify orders, prices, employee profiles, or anything else in your Square account.
Credentials & security
The OAuth token is envelope-encrypted at rest and scoped to your account. Revoke access anytime by removing the app in Square, with no call to us required.
Time to live
~1 minute. Most Square merchants are live the same session.
