What connecting WaveWage actually touches

Connecting WaveWage is a read-mostly integration you finish in one sitting. Here’s exactly what we touch, written for the person who has to approve it.

Toast

Via TimeForge
Toast connects through TimeForge. There’s no separate Toast integration to build. If your labor and sales already flow through TimeForge, WaveWage reads them there. See the TimeForge page for the full detail.
How you connect
Your Toast sales and labor flow into TimeForge. You connect WaveWage to TimeForge once (credentials, no POS-side app install) and your Toast locations come along. Nothing to install on Toast itself.Not sending Toast data to TimeForge yet? Start here:
  1. In Toast Web, someone with the Manage Integrations permission opens Toast Partner Integrations and adds TimeForge to each location.
  2. Copy each location’s Restaurant GUID: Toast Web App, Restaurants, click the location, and copy the GUID from the page address.
  3. Send the GUIDs to your TimeForge contact and ask them to turn on the Toast sales feed.
  4. Confirm a recent day’s sales show in TimeForge, then connect WaveWage to TimeForge.
What we read
Your roster, attendance, and sales, read through TimeForge, and read-mostly. WaveWage derives every payout from this synced data rather than duplicating or padding it.
What we write
Only the end-of-day bonus, written as a dedicated bonus paycode. Everything else we do here is read. We never touch your Toast orders, prices, or menu.
Credentials & security
Your TimeForge credentials are envelope-encrypted at rest and scoped to your account. You can have us disconnect at any time.
Time to live
Same-day. Typically live within one business day of connecting TimeForge.
